Tech Bench / Suspension service in the Indy area
« on: March 08, 2022, 09:49:57 AM »
Anybody had any experiences getting full fork service (example: Rockshox 200 hour service) in the area?   I see that BGI does it in-house.   Anyone had work done by them and are you happy with the quality of service?    Anybody else you'd recommend?

Two questions:

1.  Will we need a Hoosier national forest permit or is that included in the registration?

2. Anymore updates on confirmed demo manufacturers?

Thank you!

The registration fees seem pretty hefty and I suspect part of it is because you are also buying beer, which leaves non-drinkers subsidizing others' alcohol consumption.  Even the Saturday ride only option includes beer tickets.    Is there a non-alcohol option?

Good to know.  Are the camp ground showers near the parking lot by limekiln?

Brown County State Park / Brown County facilities

Does anyone know if Brown County state park has showers or changing rooms?   I heard there is a pool there and am wondering if mountain bikers can use the facilities after a ride.

Thanks!

Town Run / Access points to trail
« on: April 16, 2017, 04:50:42 PM »
Does anyone know if there are other access points to the trail besides from the main parking lot on 96th?    I will be down near the Keystone shopping center and am wondering if I can ride the bike from there and access via River Road or Crystal River drive.  Thanks!

Newbies Corner / Bike rental in the Indianapolis area
« on: March 11, 2017, 12:38:02 PM »
Does anybody know which bike shops offer mountain bike rentals in the Indy area?  I will be going on business there and may want to hit some local trails.  I noticed that Bicycle Garage offers rentals but you need to reserve one week in advance.    With the weather being volatile, I was hoping to find some shops that offer rentals without a reservation.   Thanks.
