Sorry for the delay! I appreciate the help, but I think I'm going to hold off for a little bit.

About how much would you want for the shifters, derailleurs and cassette?

My 9 speed drivetrain works well, but a 10 speed conversion  has always been tempting!

Hey everyone,

Fishers has announced a new park to be built on its east side just south of the Olio Road bridge.

The following PDF posted on the city's website depicts mountain bike trails with technical features (top right photo)

The full article is available at: http://www.fishers.in.us/GeistWaterfrontPark

Here's to the prospect of more trails!

Hey everyone,
I was hoping to get in a ride tomorrow before work. I noticed that Town Run and Fort Ben are yellow. Does anyone know if Flat Fork is rideable?

It may take some time, but it should be fairly easy to reach out to DNR at http://www.in.gov/dnr/3246.htm and put in a public information request for the total revenues of this permit.

Source: I'm a state employee and we get these types of requests all the time and it's all public data.

Tech Bench / Fork Rebuild Issues
« on: March 01, 2017, 06:32:35 AM »
Hey everyone,

I tried to do my first rebuild of a 2009 Fox F100 RLC fork. I replaced the seals and oil while following the Fox manual  and I thought things went great, but the nut on the bottom of the lowers causes the whole bolt/shaft to spin on the air side. The nut is on most of the way with a little bit of thread poking out the bottom, but it will no longer tighten or loosen and it's not tight enough to ride without any leaks. I replaced the crush washer. I've read some people use a Dremel to cut a grove in the bottom of the shaft and use a flat head to keep the shaft from spinning while tightening the nut, but I'd like to avoid cutting away at my new to me fork if possible.

Thanks for any help you have to offer!

Buy, Sell, Trade / Re: Trek 2012 Top Fuel 8, sans frame

I literally just bought a Trek Top Fuel frame last month and would love to be able to ride it this spring. Please let me know if it doesn't sell to the guy above. Your parts are exactly what I need!

I've also tried them and I was unable to reuse. After a bit of research,  the consensus online was that the ones for 10 speeds + are single use only.

+1 for Loke! I made an attempt to build a frame up, but lacked more tools and knowhow than I needed to finish it. Their great staff and good prices got me out on the trails the next day!

I'm not getting my hopes up, but has anyone found a Topeak toolbar multitool out on the trail? Mine fell out of my pack today while riding. I love this thing!

Here's a link to what it looks like: http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Topeak-Toolbar-Multi-Tool_1138.htm

It looks like there isn't much chance of rain through the weekend.  Does anyone know the current trail condition?
