This morning our car got broken into, and purse stolen.  It was foolish to leave it visible, but it sucks.  Stay aware indeed...

I've been going since 2007 (missed last year), and this was the worst one so far.

I still had a good time.  The trails in BCSP held up really well, my bike held up okay, and I didn't have any major injuries.  Success.

Big appreciation for the water set up at Hidden Cabin so I could wash off the important parts of my bike and relube.  I'm sure something would have broke otherwise. 

Thanks also to the Hesitation Point Bike and Backcountry crew for fixing my brakes on the way back as well.  Getting down to the parking lot could have been bad.

I'm going to miss those trails for cross country skiing, but its certainly a good trade - months of mountain biking instead of possibly a couple days of skiing (weather willing).

What kind of summary doesn't include the underlying theme of golf bashing?  Or the wacky lady who seemed to get applause from everybody.  She rambled something about the 60s and 70s and drugs, and a bunch of guys golfing at Eagle Creek with one lady who was selling them hot dogs.  I had to leave 30 minutes early, hopefully I didn't miss anything else good.
