I was looking at the times from the race this weekend and found the numbers interesting. Looking at at catt 3 mens time. I feel in my opinion only ,that if ur doing lap times almost the same as Matt Batten you should man up and move up to cat 2. I understand training and having a good year and running for the title but if you're doing that well it's time to move up.I'm not pointing fingers I'm not trying to make anybody upset I'm sure it goes on in all categories I just wanted to speak my mind.

I got a new toy for Xmass. What is your max heart rate ? Mine has been up to 189. How do you use them best for racing ?

Don't feel bad about going down. I went down hard last night on Green Valley myself. I was going around a burm and the next thing I knew I was making leaf Angeles. Got a good case of trail rash on my hip and leg. I still had a great time.

This has been a on going problem, just look at past post. Everyone has the right to be able to ride safe on public trails. I am glade you have not been hit, but I have and come close to someone hitting me at least one time a year. By the way, Evan rides just as good as alot or better than half the vistors to the park. He is only good for around 7 miles , but he is getting alot faster. Its not the vistors I worry about it is the the Guys who know better . Just remember, Mt. biking is a family sport.

Why dont we make the trails oneway ? Change the direction every week. I dont like it, but someone is going to get hurt. Not to mention, I am riding with my son , who is 4 , I am worried about someone smoking him. They would have to add some more trails for conectors, but with ALL the people that ride there. Just think how many times you have about bit with someone. Just saying

If you are racing {catt3 } and win, or do the race around the same time as the catt 1 does lap times. It is time to move up. Or does it make you feel cool to be a sand bag ?

I was out last night after the fact, but What his friends told me, was he was on G>V> and lost it into a tree. They said his face was messed up and he was air lifted out of the park. That is all I know about that. Eric

My life is not worth taking any chances with a shot gun hunter. I am a deer hunter and I am staying out of the woods where people might be hunting during shot gun season.
