Fantastic 4 / Re: Conditions of Hoosier National Trails??
« on: August 26, 2019, 08:45:43 AM »
In general, yes they are all good to go.  Some of the areas may still have some downed trees from the early summer storms, but nothing that should keep you from having a great few days of riding.  I've only hit Blue Creek, Nebo, Combs and 18 & 19 this year, but all were in decent to good shape.  I've got several friends that live and ride all through the area and haven't heard anything different from them.

Is the list of Demo manufacturers/trucks that will be there finalized?

The list isn't finalized yet.  It's always a bit like herding kittens to get all of the "demo gypsy's" lined up.  A few that should be definite (fingers crossed) are Pivot, Ibis & Specialized.  Others are still trickling in and we'll update more as we get closer to the event.

Brown County State Park / Re: BCSP Trail Conditions
« on: March 19, 2019, 02:24:06 PM »
Just FYI, I got a call from a friend in Bloomington that rode BCSP yesterday afternoon.  He said the trails were in great shape and there was no mud, just a couple of puddled areas...so you should be good today.  Just keep in mind there's a chance for rain on Wednesday and this time of year it takes much longer for the moisture on the trails to clear.

Racing...from the novice to seasoned / Re: What are "Dead Cemeteries"?

Very cool updates Brian, great job!

Quick question, are the “dead cemeteries” going to be “dead” for the parent/youth teams too?  I would assume so, but since the overall rules are a bit different for that group, thought I would check.

Limekiln Reflector you ask? Someone built a sign out of broken reflectors that spells Limekiln and placed it just past where the large tulip tree was down.  We stopped to work on a bermed/seep area and when we were done, noticed it hanging there.  Not sure how long it's been there, but I've never noticed it until the other day.

Large tree down on Limekiln right at 3/10's of a mile from the campground entrance, 100 yards from the Limekiln reflector sign. Will definitely take a chain saw to clear.

Reggie has been bitten by the biking bug.  I believe he's into all sorts of riding.  A buddy of mine that lives in California has actually raced against him several times in different events.  My buddy smokes him, but says the guy can definitely ride and was really surprised at how good he is being so tall.
