went out running on the trails today...very wet, tons o' mud holes and the lower section is essentially flooded...trail should be red for awhile till it gets at least 2-3 solid days of NO RAIN (venting frustration at ma' nature) and time to dry out.

Brian...if you could pass my phone number on to whoever will be heading up the Avon trail sessions that would be great!  I will be graduating this May and I can't wait to have some "free time" to kill!

Avon - Washington Township Park / Trail Conditions as of Aug 7

Hey Avon folks, rode a few laps around last Friday.  Considering the amount of rain we'd recieved just a few days prior, the trails are looking great.  The trail is best described as solid and moist but not muddy at all.  There was a tree down across the trail after the steep hill on the North side of the property that leads to the lower trails.  There is also some erosion problems on the hills that we have always had.  Other than that it was a nice ride, it's a shame i rarely ever see anyone else out riding w/ me.  Ya'll be safe, see you sometime soon!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the nice new sign posted out by the pond.

Brian,

I'm certain that you would appreciate all the help you can get.  If you give me a couple weeks heads up I'd love to come and help take care of the trail.  Never worked on trails yet, but I've got a good back and an ipod.  Contact me @ doogieemt@earthlink.net or 3175176088

Thanks,

Nathan
