I am posting for a friend. He has a 2015 Scott Scale RC carbon fiber MTN Bike for sale. Medium Frame, 27.5 inch wheels. Black frame with yellow lettering. If you want more info or picks you can email him at nlucas824@yahoo.com. $3,800 OBO Elite level bike. I do know it has only been ridden a couple of times and he just doesn't have the time right now to ride so he doesn't want it just sitting in the garage collecting dust. Bob

Over the years I have communicated a little with NICA and thought about grassroots leagues as well. With being a Principal and knowing many others who happen to be Leaders at some of our schools close to some of our trails in the state I feel I will be able to reach out to them and get this ball rolling. I have had some of you over the years contact me as my name was on the list on NICA and it seemed like we had yet another baby in the house and time was short. With the youngest of four turning two this weekend it is finally getting a little easier again. PM me if you are interested in a Fall HS/MS league for our kids as it is time to give them this option in our state with all the great trails being built by HMBA and others. If anyone knows of a school with a program already please let me know so I can reach out to them. Right now my school is the only one I know of. Over the next week I will be developing some avenues on social media to get the word out as well and will share those here with everyone. Thanks in advance! The last four years my buddy and I have done the DINO 2 man 24 hours and sadly my wife recieved a wedding invitation from one of her friends for that date this year . We are looking for options for one somewhere else and willing to drive out of state. Anyone know of any in the midwest in Sept. or October? Bob

I know I sent this out two years ago, but my buddy has a little company and we were just looking to get a a handful of jerseys made for the DINO series any suggestions? I know bikejersey.com ask for an order of 15-25 so we didn't do that. Any other suggestions? Bob

I have a 1997 Cannondale Super V 1000. One of my teachers and I are looking to rebuild/buy the shock and fork so that we have an extra bike as part of our new mountain bike club at school. We currently have four new bikes and my two. I believe the rear shock is an Alps 4 and the headshock is a cannondale headshock DD60. Any suggestions on rebuild kits or replacement would be great as it will mean one more kid on the trails each time we take them! Cheap solutions even better as it will be out of my wallet not school. I have been commuting year round the last two years, and the booties I have had are shot from several more years of use. I am looking at winter shoes for the commute but also do some winter trail rides so walking in them would be useful as well. Anyone have a pair they really like? I have looked at 3 pair online under $200 and the are: Louis Garneau 0 Ergo Grip Winter Cycling Shoes, Pearl Izumi Barrier GTX Winter Cycling Shoe, Lake CXZ302 Winter Road Shoes. Any thoughts? And I have ridden with the windchill close to zero on several occasions so they need to work in very cold conditions not just the freezing point. Thanks for any advice. Bob

FATS in South Carolina is Awesome! With all the rain my buddy and I were about to scratch our Indiana Mtn. Bike tour for the weekend. He decided at 5pm friday we should head to FATS since I had talked about it so much, and the next thing I knew we were riding it at 10 am Saturday. It is truly a great system, but will kick your butt on no sleep and 93 degree heat. We stayed at Hickory Knob State Park right up the road (great place I have been there a few times before) and they now have a 7 mile loop by the lake. So, we got up at daylight rode that loop and it was actually a lot of fun as well and then hit the road for the trip home. One of the best IMBA EPICS I have done so far. Can't wait to ride it again, the only problem is you have to drive past Asheville which wasn't easy with all that I knew is sitting there waiting to be ridden. Bob

I am on my way to Tenn. tomorrow halfway in between Nashville and Knoxville. So around the Cave City/Glascow exit of I-65 I will be going on to KY-70. Youngers Creek a little earlier and then Sal Hallow appear to be the closest to the Highways I am taking. Would like to stop and hit one before meeting up with the family (already there enjoying their time.) Anybody been to these two to compare them? In Tenn. Falls Creek State Park appears to be the closest to me so if anyone has been there as well is it worth it? Bob
