Is the 3.7 mi indicator at the head of LC correct?
What are the actual miles around LC and Schoen Creek?

Brown County State Park / The "Downhill Experience"

I want to take a family member to BC and have him ride downhill from the campground. He has a single speed bike.

Can you recommend a route that results in the least amount of uphill pedaling while maximizing the fun? I have a copy of the Sub-9 trail map, using its trail descriptions would be helpful.

Your suggestions are appreciated.

Brown County State Park / Advice for a first-timer to BC

I'll be spending the weekend at BC in a few weeks. I'd like to make my way to Hesitation Point and back at least.
Since the trail allow riders to go in either direction, I'd rather take the direction of least resistance in regards to sharp uphill climbing.

Can anyone recommend which directions to take (left or right, clockwise or counter-clockwise) at the following intersections towards Hesitation Point?

1) Where the North Gate trail meets North Tower loop - clockwise (left) or counter-clockwise (right)?
2) Where North Tower Loop meets Aynes Loop - clockwise (left) or counter-clockwise (right)?

On the way back from Hesitation Point should my direction around those loops be the same?
Can you suggest a path through Green Valley trail assuming the furthest I intend on going is Hesitation Point?

Rangeline Nature Preserve / Expert section descriptions

I was trying to describe expert sections at Rangeline and later was unable to find official descriptions.
I could be wrong but I believe there are 5 expert sections.
What are the official designations (#1..#4) etc?

Rangeline Nature Preserve / Root Hill

I'm expanding my "loop" to include more trails. The last bit of expert is a great ride however to enter you must pass the test, Root Hill.

What's the secret? How can you get up it without falling back. I have a hard enough time climbing it without sliding down.

Anyways, you guys do great work and Its given me some adventure in my life. Thanks!
