ATTENTION: ALL Mountain Bikers and trail bums! It's time to start building a Multi-use Single Track Trail at Jaycee Park. The trail has been designed by Dino Mountain Bike racing owner/CEO Brian Holzhausen.  Note Dino is interested in hosting races at Jaycee Park.

•Jaycee Park 1681 E CR 225 S. Greencastle, IN 46135 (note listed as JC park on Facebook and Indiana Trail Runners)
•Saturday, May 18th & Sunday, May 19th (Rain Date- June 8th)

•9:00 AM-4:00 PM
•Free food and gatorade

This will be the first trail work date (more to come).
Dress to work in the woods. We will be clearing fallen trees, clearing underbrush, and starting the trail.
Please bring with you:
•Work Gloves

And if possible:
•Dirt rake
•Pruning Shears
•Trimming Saw

We are working on having lunch for the workers donated. PLEASE RSVP here or on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/events/570054096359797/).  So we know how many we are feeding.  It will be so exciting to have such a wonderful trail in the Greencastle community, but it has to be a community effort. Come on out and help!  For any questions you may have on this project or other work dates please do not hesitate to PM me or contact the Greencastle parks department:http://cityofgreencastle.com/index.php?option=com_contact&catid=90&Itemid=3
Other organizations involved include, The Greencastle Running and Fitness Club, The Greencastle Parks Department, and the local boy scouts.  People Pathways and other organizations could also be involved, stay tuned.
