I am new to FS bikes and just set my sag to manufacturers recommendations. I am concerned with bottoming it out as the o-ring only had a 1/4 of an inch left on piston. Anybody have any advice on where I should go from here.

So I purchased a new bike and the hydraulics brake is squeaking on the front. If I hold the brake lever down 2/3rds of the way it goes away. Should I remove the front wheel and gently pry the calipers apart and re-insert the wheel? Any other advice out there?

MB'ers-

I have been riding a 2002 Giant Rainier for the past decade and it has served me well. I am interested in upgrading to a new bike. From what I have seen the bikes from bikesdirect seem like a lot of bang for your buck.. I realize some of you are purists and will denounce such a brand but are motobecane's bad bikes? At the end of the day, they have the same components as high end bikes and are made on the same line as Kona,K2,Jamis and many others. I could care less about actual brand name of the bike.. Thoughts??
