Awesome frame that I hate to sell, I just have too many bikes and this one has to go.
Rides like a dream! Very compliant and comfortable ride.
I had this frame sandblasted and powder coated gloss black. It was setup as a SS but can be setup geared with a derailleur hanger (not included)
Comes with EBB and stylo 1.1 175mm crankset, seatpost collar and origin8 1 1/8 headset

$150 obo

Nice bike in good condition for its age. Great starter road bike or winter training bike.

New bike is on it's way so this one has to go. $300 OBO. Pictures on request.

Fantastic 4 / Nebo Newbie
« on: September 25, 2014, 03:46:18 PM »
I rode Nebo Ridge for the first time ever today and I have to say I had a blast. I'm mad that it's taken me this long to ride it! I was expecting it to be an eroded, rutted out, and horsed out trail but wanted to try something new and different than BCSP.

I did the north to south out and back (about 18 miles). I was impressed by the trail condition, flow, bombing descents, technical descents and killer climbs. If you've never ridden this trail, do it! It's a fun trail and a nice change up from BCSP. Well worth the $5 trail permit.

Rants and Raves / Shimano XT Brakeset $144 w/ free shipping!

Killer deals on Shimano stuff, plus 10% off w/ "cash10" code entered at checkout. The websites a little clunky to navigate but worth the effort.

Given the success and popularity of the Town Run short track races from last year. Is there anyone on the South side (Northsiders are welcome too!) that's interested in a weeknight short track racing series @ Southwestway Park?

The new loop would make a great high speed and fun short track race. I'm just not sure with the popularity of the new loop if it would be possible with the hike and horse traffic. Maybe the Honeysuckle Assassin can weigh in here?

I've only raced XC races and I'll admit now that I've never participated or been a part of a short track race and know nothing about setting up and running one, but if there is enough interest I'm sure we can work out the details easily.

If anyone has experience with short track racing, I welcome your comments....

If we are given the blessing to race and there is enough interest we'll work out the details! As of now I'm thinking Wednesdays will be best so as not to conflict with "Trail Work Tuesdays".

Racing...from the novice to seasoned / 2013 racing/riding plans?
« on: January 01, 2013, 11:01:05 AM »
Happy New Year everyone! I'm curious what everyone's racing/riding plans are for the new year?

I'm planning on racing CatII and hopefully compete in every DINO race, as well as a possible Xterra or two if I can find the time to run and swim. I'm also going to try to do my FIRST Brown County Breakdown this year.

So what are YOUR plans for 2013?!?!

Tech Bench / X-fusion Velvet RL
« on: September 07, 2012, 03:54:50 PM »
I'm looking to convert my 2010 Epic to 650b and it looks as though my SID fork won't  have the clearance for that wheel size. I know Fox forks will work but will void the warranty where as the X- fusion Velvet RL is made for both and are priced nicely (I think around $300 new). Does anyone have any input or info on this brand and model? Internet reviews seem positive but wanted some local advice. Also weight and performance compared to the SID would be great! Thanks.
