Tech Bench / Needing tire suggestions

Have a blown out rear tire and need to replace. I'm currently running Schwalbe Nobby Nics which I like but don't really want to spend the money. Thinking about the Maxxis Ardent 29. Need to be tubeless also. Any suggestions?

Hey guys just wanted to see if any of the Indy area trails will be rideable Friday. I have the day off work and would like to make the trip down from Lafayette if possible. Thanks.
