Brown County State Park / Helmets/ Ky mtb group
« on: August 19, 2013, 09:46:02 AM »
First I want to thank ,Alex , i believe that that was your name, that was with the large group from Kentucky riding at the park yesterday. He was very prepared to help anyone with a first aid kit, better than anything I even have in my medicine cabinet. I took a hard hit face first and he was more than helpful getting me cleaned up out there. I saw a few people yesterday without helmets, well I wouldn't want to know what shape I'd be in today had I not been wearing mine. I'm sure everyone on this forum wears theirs , and I've never said anything to people that didn't have one on for fear of making them mad , but maybe it would be worth the chance.

Tech Bench / 2x10 ?
« on: September 15, 2011, 09:12:13 AM »
Im wanting to run 2x10 on my 08' superfly. Currently running it 2x9, 44-32,11-34, and was thinking about going 42-28,11-36. Will the 42-28 clear the chainstays? There are sometimes where I feel that im really grinding it out and just wanting a little more range for climbing. And thinking of going with xo. Thanks!!

Rants and Raves / Night riding @ BCSP

Last night I went for my first nigt ride in the woods and what an experience that was. All the little frogs in the trail added some extra "think fast"moves. Im sure I missed them all. And it was the first time in about 5 years that I heard whiporwills. Lots of deer of course, but no Bigfoot,  maybe I will bring jerky next time.  Anyway thanks a bunch to all the hard working trail maintenance all of you have been doing,  other wise I would have had to go home after work and last night was just what the Dr. ordered.
