I apologize for taking some time to post about the Grand Opening. Hopefully you were able to see it first-hand because it was AMAZING! We had well over 3,000 visitors during the weekend. Governor Pence's visit was fantastic and the whole opening ceremony was superb. There are too many people to thank for getting us here, so thank you all! We literally had folks working all night, multiple nights, completing portions of the infrastructure and it looks GREAT!
Even if you have been to the park recently, but before the Grand Opening, you owe it to yourself to come see the recent changes! The majority of the signage is up, the LZ riding areas are complete with some new additions, and the trails are riding great!
We thoroughly enjoyed having pro rider Brian Lopes riding with us all weekend, along with Mountain Bike Action Magazine and the nice folks from the Denver Parks & Rec department who came to check out our world-class facilities! And DINO ensured our competitions and races were smooth!
The Baddest Bike Park on 300 acres is officially open!! And don't forget... ADMISSION IS FREE! And we are open 24/7, pending weather/trail conditions. There is NOWHERE nearby where your entire family can have more fun on a bike then the Griffin Bike Park!

You won't find a place anywhere nearby where your 9 year old daughter will have more fun on a bike than the Griffin Bike Park! There is something for everyone there and specific trails and a kids pump track built for her and younger! It is free admission and open 24/7 all year. The place just had finishing touches and "polish" put on it for the grand opening over the weekend. Go check it out! while your daughter is tooling around on the kids pump track you can keep one eye on her and another on the pro pump track, dual slalom, and jump lines!! Then take her to the basic training skills park and let her ride the "little" and "big" kids trails and skills features! Then treat yourself to 15 miles of trails from beginner to expert! All in one location on 300 acres! It is truly a phenomenal place that must be seen to be fully appreciated.

We did order the wooden jumps and features in the Basic Training Skills Zone. They are "pre-built" but we had to assemble them onsite. We got them from Progressive Bike Ramps. They did come out and help install the skills features and showed us how to assemble the ramps. It was quite a bit of work to assemble all those ramps!
Looking forward to having you at the Grand Opening!! Spread the word and bring your friends!

WOW!! That Alex Fowler pump track is RAD!! Alex also helped us dial in and polish the jump lines and dual slalom, ALL of which are now RIDEABLE! The dual slalom has some wicked gap jumps for the pros... we are still adding the "safeties" for folks like me so ride to your ability! The safeties will be in for the Grand Opening on Saturday. COME RIDE!! We are averaging over 1,000 visitors per week!!

Trail conditions are AWESOME! Now that you are done with the Epic, come scout out the race courses, dual slalom, jumps, and pump track in preparation for the Grand Opening this Saturday!
