Westwood / A must ride for 2016« on: January 21, 2016, 05:34:23 PM »
Westwood is an awesome 10 mile loop with great views of the lake. I haven't figured out why more people don't make the easy drive out to ride here. You can camp, fish and mountain bike at this great location. It's an easy drive out 234 off of Pendleton Pike in Mccordsville. So if you have never ridden here yet add this great trail to your must ride list for 2016

The trail maintenance is going to be the Town of Fishers responsibility. The trees were cleared the next day. I got ahold of the park commissioner and he sent a crew out.

The trail is RED and with all the rain forecasted for the next few days it will probably be awhile before the trail is dry enough to Ride

Flat Fork Creek is officially open. There are signs on the trail and a map of the park on the shelter wall. To check trail status go to the Fishers park Twitter page. There are plans for more trails and a pump track in the future. If you get out and Ride this new trail please post what you think of it and if you have any ideas for future work please post that also. The parks department seem to be very willing to make this a great place to Ride. Thanks

Flat Fork Creek Park (Fisher) / Re: Grand Opening« on: December 08, 2015, 06:21:27 PM »
No maps yet and Fishers are also going to put signs up on the trail so everyone will know the direction to Ride. The trails are a little tacky but ride able. The trail around the ridge is wet because it was not compacted. Will check on maps

It is on the Flat Fork Creek Facebook page. 3:30 to 5:30 are pretty weird times for a week day. Not sure how many mountain bikers will make it. I know I won't be able to make it. But at least it will officially be opened.

Flat Fork Creek Park (Fisher) / Trail Conditions« on: November 19, 2015, 09:04:01 PM »
After all the rain the trail is red so please do not ride on the trails. The park is open and the trails look wet but in good shape. ATIMMAN blew all the leaves off the trail before the rain. I will try and get over and see if there are any trees down and clear the trail of any debris.

Flat Fork Creek Park (Fisher) / Re: RED« on: October 27, 2015, 01:15:22 PM »
Flat Fork Creek is RED. Most of the people riding here are not aware of the HMBA site so we have tried to educate as many people as we can about IMBA and HMBA. The trails have been getting a lot of use and are in great shape. It's really good to see a group of teenagers out riding rather than sitting at home playing video games. They all seem to ask if there is anyway that they can help. The sign is gone and the barricades are down. We added a jump on the outer loop and everyone is really enjoying the trail. We are going to clear all leafs from the trail 1 more time before wi ter. Please don't f orget about the ridge trail on the Southside of the park. Thanks

Saw this guy last week past pipedream. Was not Huf or anyone else I've ever seen at work days anywhere. He was covering roots up and I noticed the holes thought it was odd but didn't say anything. Guess I should have
