Town Run / Re: BMC MTB DEMO truck at TRTP May10th 10am -2pm
« on: May 09, 2015, 11:45:56 PM »
After two large rain events yesterday one at 330 and another at 500 or so. We have decided to reschedule this event. Slick spots around fast cornors make the ground very unpleasant to taste if you go down. And we want riders to be as safe as possible and test these bikes to the full potential.

We will announce a single day demo on a Saturday coming up in the future.  With a two week window to prepare for riding a BMC MTB. Full or hard tail

Thank you

Yea MOM's day - But it was the only time we could get the full truck here. And later in the season he will be at races and all over the midwest. And once MTB  race season starts I won't have time to help with DEMO days.

If you can come it is just a great way to get out of the house and ride...  I love my mother very much and she knows I love mountain bikes almost as much... ;)

Mothers day should be everyday right???

Town Run / BMC MTB DEMO truck at TRTP Postponed for now
« on: May 08, 2015, 11:17:32 AM »
This Sunday May 10th Ron Tew from BMC will be at TRTP with the BMC demo truck. 10am - 2pm 8)  This is of course a FREE event.

As with anything DEMO you have a chance to ride top of the line equipment and ride it like you stole it.  Turn on your Strava or Garmin and see if you can pull better times than the bike you currently rock! It's an early event and we will keep tabs on the weather. As most of us know you can not ride wet (red) trails. Yellow trail gives us an opening to have the truck ready to hand out bikes at will. And then go hang out with family or just ride more!

Its very easy to saw something up off your body.. No need to be certified to cut yourself up.. But cutting up trees is a different story

Yes strava keeps people moving in the wrong direction. If you want to get segments get 4500 lumens and try at night. Then you can say I am KOM of the night.

Bike wheel size is trail specific.  Lots of climbing go 26er.  fast long straights like racing 29er...
650b your moms old schwinn twin tandem.
