The date and location are set.  The 2010 HMBA annual meeting will be at the Abe Martin Lodge at Brown County State Park on Saturday, March 6th.

We will be working on the details, but please put this date on your calendars.  The game plan is to have rides (most likely on paved and gravel roads), hikes (Schooner Trace and maybe even some new trails), break out sessions, dinner and guest speaker.

I will be updating lodge and cabin deals asap.  I suggest that you book a room or cabin and spend saturday night.  If you haven't seen the indoor water park at the Abe Martin Lodge, you are missing out.

Dinner at the annual meeting needs to be purchased ahead of time.  Please use the link below to purchase dinner.  This is the same site that the breakdown uses for registration.  Adults are $25 and Kids are $10.

https://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=10002

We are working on providing adult beverages at the dinner.  Also, if you want to take care of your HMBA membership on line, you can pay for your membership while paying for dinner.

Cabins are all ready sold out for the weekend, so don't delay on reserving a room at the lodge.

Can I just show up for one of the Chainsaw Safety Classes without being involved in the rest? Will there be an advance registration for the class?

Dinner update

Last week, I had to make the call on the number of dinners we needed for the meeting.  At that time, there where 31 dinners paid for.  I guessimated how many more people would want dinner and ordered 50 adult dinners and 5 kids dinners.  So dinners are still up for sale on www.bikereg.com.

We now have 38 adult and 2 kids meals sold.  So don't delay.  As soon as we reach 50 meals, I will close the Bike Reg sale.

We are currently sold out for dinner.  I have going to see if I can add another 10 dinners, but not sure if we can at this point.

The Grant writing seminar and social media seminars will be in the Abe Martin Lodge.  The Chainsaw safety sessions will be at the maintenance area.  The Schooner Trace Hike will start at the Walnut shelter.

Locations for the trail maintenance and trail layout sessions are still to be determined.

We will have volunteers at the Abe Martin Lodge, so if in doubt, go to the Abe Martin Lodge and ask for directions.
