Check out Yellowood lake in the Yellowood state forest. They have row boat rentals and camping. it's only about 6 miles from Brown County State Park.

Why ride the same old places?  Try riding some other places less frequented by most people.  There are plenty of them.  But bad etiquette is bad etiquette.

I agree, I don't ride BCSP on weekends.  To me it gets to busy.  I ride at places like French Lick, or Muscatatuck.

Did you video your ride.  I have seen most of your youtube videos. I enjoy the commentary and popup windows.

Congratulations, nothing beats the joy of kids.  I remember when I took my son for his first mtb ride.  He was eight.  He rode the north loop, starting from the lookout tower.  I recorded it and posted it on youtube. Titled: First time mountain biker.

I had a cutlas and went from a trunk mount, to a roof, to a hitch.  The hitch style worked the best for me.  The trunk mount scratched the car and bikes.  The roof was removable and scratched the roof and it was harder to load than the hitch.  The hitch was a tray style and easy to load.  Held the bike good without having to remove the front wheel.  The bike are out of the wind.  My hitch mount was a Raxter brand.  They are light and high quality. My 2 cents
