Laurel Lake is what you'll find down near Lodon. The sheltowee is part of that trail system but there is off shoots of other trails. Your best bet is to head over to ICS and talk to Scott Irons. He'll probably have maps or he'll draw something up. Locally, VBR will be leaf covered and probably hold up better (it gets no traffic). Also, you can ride the gravel roads down near Hickory (close to Nebo) to keep the legs going.

Front works with both, rear shimano needs to be paired with a sram attack shifter.

Anybody have the scoop on the route for the Dino race? I hear rumors that the new trail could be added in to change things up and to break in the trail.

I went to Nebo for a ride about 5 years ago on opening day by accident. I did have my orange Jersey so I went for it. As I tried to leave the parking lot at Hunter gets my attention and asked me if he could borrow some tools to put together his tree stand. 20 minutes later and his stand was built so I made him promise not to shoot me. Plus I figured exactly what Rob said. There was no way he was going to drag that stand up the hill to were I was going. And he was going to have to use the same trail I was using so the likely hood of being mistaken is very doubtful.

I know this a long shot but is the trail at McCormick going to be rideable by tomorrow afternoon? I' m stuck up in Lafayette and need to hit some dirt if possible. Thanks in advance!
